Empower
We give survivors real resources and support, meeting people where they are and staying with them through what comes next.
About the Coalition
We support survivors, raise awareness, and bring people together to make change happen. Everyone deserves to live free from fear. And no one should have to face that road by themselves.
Who we are
The Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking is a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating the global crisis of human trafficking through impactful initiatives. We provide vital resources to at-risk youth and adults, empowering and supporting trafficked victims and survivors through advocacy and advising.
We're rooted in Traverse City and Northern Michigan, and we're stronger together. Healing is shared work, and we're glad you're here.
Our Vision
To end human trafficking through work that makes a real difference, and to help victims rebuild their lives safely, on their own terms.
Our Mission
To provide vital resources, advocacy, and advising support to at-risk individuals while educating and raising awareness in the community.
Empower · Educate · Reclaim
Everything we do grows from three simple commitments: to the people we serve, and to the community around them.
We give survivors real resources and support, meeting people where they are and staying with them through what comes next.
We raise awareness and run training across our community so more people can spot the signs and know what to do next.
We help people build strength and find the footing to rebuild their lives, on their own terms.
The coalition approach
Human trafficking is hidden, and it's heavy. No single organization can carry it alone. That's why we're a coalition: a network of people and partners who each bring something the others need.
Together, we build comprehensive survivor support networks, strengthen prevention, improve victim identification, and surround survivors with steady, practical support.
We connect survivors with what they actually need to rebuild: housing, care, guidance, and people who stick around.
We bring service providers together to create change that lasts. Recovery is a long road, and we plan for it.
We are a coalition for a reason. No single organization can do this alone, so we partner with nonprofits, agencies, healthcare, law enforcement, and community leaders.
